If you are a new client please arrive 5-10minutes before your appointment time to fill in our welcome form.
Please advise us at the time of booking if you have any health conditions or special considerations such as pregnancy, allergies or injuries as some treatments may not be suitable.
Out of consideration to other clients, all treatments are completed as scheduled. We encourage you to arrive early as late arrivals will lessen your treatment time.
We reserve the right to change all treatment, product and service pricing at any time without further notice.
Treatment prices may vary from client to client depending on program, service or product sold to or brought by the individual client based on their personalised needs.
If a product purchased in salon is faulty or a service is unsatisfactory, it may either be exchanged or refunded, which will be at The House of Beauty Launceston discretion. If you have any issues with the services provided please contact the salon within 72 hours of your service.
There will be no refunds for a change of mind.
We will gladly adjust any service you receive within three days of your service. If you are not satisfied with the work performed, we require that you return to the salon so that your treatments can be visually inspected. At that time, we will make every effort to correct any problems to your satisfaction by rescheduling you with the therapist who performed the initial service.
No refunds are given for gift cards, Gift cards are not exchangeable.
Cancellation/ no show policy:
When you book an appointment with us that time is reserved exclusively for you. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services
When booking online you will be asked to put in your card details to secure your appointment, due to last minute cancellations and no shows this impacts our small business, team and clients who are eagerly waiting on a cancellation list.
This policy is to confirm your commitment to attending your scheduled appointment and to protect The House of Beauty in the incident of late cancellations or no shows.
Your card details only need to be entered once, our online booking system then saves your card details in its secure database - Our team cannot see your card details, they remain completely private.
Your card will not be charged unless you cancel last minute or not show up for an appointment.
By booking an appointment you are agreeing to our cancellation /no show policy.
Please provide us with at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Confirmation messages are sent the day before your scheduled appointment.
Failure to notify the salon within the 24 hour timeframe will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment value and no shows (client does not show up for the booked appointment and hasn’t contacted the salon) will incur a no show fee of 100% of the appointment value.
This will be charged to the card on file - Consideration will be given for unavoidable circumstances.

Please let us know if you are bringing children in a pram or have mobility issues as we only have 1 downstairs/ easily accessible treatment room.
We accept Eftpos, Visa, MasterCard, Cash, regrettably we don’t accept bank cheques or American Express.
We do not hold any personal client accounts, all appointments preformed the day of the treatment must be paid in full that day.
If you fail to pay for your service the day of your treatment or leave the premises without payment or knowledge of the therapist, you will forthwith be banned from the salon and all future appointments will be immediately cancelled. In this circumstance The House of Beauty holds the rights to legally pursue this incident.

Information Collection and Use: The information that we collect will be used to contact or identify you.
The House of Beauty collects personally identifiable information about you, being: 1 your name; 2 your contact information including email address; 3 payment details; and 4 medical information including but not limited to allergies and current medications.
We primarily collect your information in order to be able to service your requirements to the best of our ability. We will collect, hold and use your personal information for the following reasons:
1 assist us in providing services to you; 2 contact you or respond to your queries; 3 book in appointments; 4 confirm and reschedule appointments; 5 send SMS confirmations; 6 tailor your experience of the Site and our communications to you; 7 to advertise our services and the Site; 8 for our internal administrative, marketing and planning requirements; 9 to compile and report statistics, with all the relevant personal and/or proprietary information de-identified prior to the completion of such statistics; and 10 for purposes that are expressly permitted under any agreement with you.
